NCS Attorney Kate Juerling volunteered last week at the American Legion Auxiliary Volunteer Girls State (ALAVGS). ALAVGS is a weeklong program designed to:
- Educate rising high school senior women on the responsibilities of citizenship
- Foster a love for both God and Country
By building their own city, county, and state government bodies, ALAVGS delegates actively live the state political system. Kate, along with other ALAVGS volunteers, are helping to ensure the program’s nonpartisan governmental, patriotic, and civic objectives are achieved through interactive learning. NCS was pleased to sponsor a delegate and is proud of Kate for educating our future leaders.
