In support of National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, NCS is proud to recognize the work of our colleagues, Mary Jo Wedding and Kate Juerling, who serve the community on the board of Ability Allies (formerly Disability Legal Services of Indiana.) The organization recently changed its name AND continues its work to empower Hoosier students with disabilities and their families by providing free and low-cost legal advocacy to ensure access to an appropriate education, including assistance with issues such as accommodations for students, special education matters, and IEP /Section 504 Plans for students with a disability who may not qualify for special education services.
