JAMES D. MATTHEWS a graduate from St. Ambrose University and the University of Notre Dame School of Law, and a World War II Navy veteran, has extensive experience in all aspects of insurance, having worked as an insurance claims adjuster and claim supervisor from 1951 until retirement in 1985, at which time he joined Norris Choplin & Schroeder, LLP as “Of Counsel”. He was admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and is a member of the Indianapolis, Indiana and American Bar Associations (Tort and Insurance Practice Section). Mr. Matthews primarily works in the areas of insurance coverage questions and claims evaluation.
