The law firm of Norris, Choplin & Johnson was formed as a partnership of Richard L. Norris, John M. Choplin, II and Robert H. Johnson in Indianapolis, Indiana, on October 1, 1979. The Firm started with three Partners and one secretary and opened its offices on the fourth floor of the Jefferson Building, One Virginia Avenue, on January 21, 1980.

The Firm moved into new offices on the third floor of the Jefferson Building on March 16, 1984. The Firm moved to new offices at Suite 900, 101 West Ohio Street, on October 1, 1988.

The name of the Firm was changed to Norris, Choplin & Schroeder on November 1, 1991. The Firm became Norris, Choplin & Schroeder, LLP on July 9, 1998.

The Firm was honored to receive the 1995 Family Life Enhancement Award for Small Businesses presented by Methodist Hospital’s Buchanan Counseling Center on October 24, 1995. The award recognizes businesses with family-sensitive policies and programs for their employees.

MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of the firm is to provide honest, competent, responsive and efficient civil litigation and dispute resolution services for our clients and a stable, wholesome and rewarding environment for personnel with an opportunity for a well-balance personal life. All decisions affecting the firm will be evaluated in light of this purpose.

The firm concentrates its practice on civil litigation, mediation, arbitration, administrative proceedings and other related areas of law.
