JOHN M. CHOPLIN, II graduated from Drake University (Phi Beta Kappa and Omicron Delta Kappa) in 1967 and the University of Michigan School of Law in 1974. He worked in the claims department of an aviation insurance company, served as an officer in the United States Air Force and is a commercial pilot with instrument and multi-engine ratings. Mr. Choplin concentrates his practice in civil litigation, appeals, arbitration and mediation in state and federal courts. He handles cases involving aviation, class action, construction, contract, insurance, governmental liability, mold, motor vehicle, premises liability, products liability, professional liability (architect, engineering, insurance and legal), subrogation and toxic tort law.
